Come And Live

Come and Live is a series about a Jesus who is bigger than the help we came looking for. In John 5, a man who has been unable to walk for thirty-eight years lies beside a pool, waiting for someone to carry him into the water. Jesus doesn't carry him into the water. He tells him to get up — and the man does. But what begins as a healing story quickly becomes something far larger. Jesus claims to do what only God does: give life to the dead, execute judgment over the world, and fulfill everything the Scriptures have been pointing toward. The religious leaders see the same evidence and reach for stones instead of worship. Over three weeks, we will watch the testimony pile up — miracle, teaching, Scripture, the Father himself — and face the question John wants every reader to answer: will you come to the Son and live, or will you stand next to the evidence and refuse to move?
