Christ Alone

Sermon Series Description

Christ Alone is a journey through the book of Galatians, where the apostle Paul confronts one of the most persistent threats to the Christian life: the temptation to add something to Christ. Written to believers drifting back toward law-based righteousness, Galatians announces with clarity and urgency that life with God comes by faith in Christ, not by the law.

Throughout this series, we will see that the gospel is not only how we begin the Christian life, but how we live it. Paul exposes the emptiness of religious performance, the danger of subtle legalism, and the false security of self-justification. In contrast, he proclaims the freedom of grace, the gift of adoption, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit—all grounded in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

From justification to new creation, from slavery to sonship, and from flesh-driven effort to Spirit-empowered love, Galatians calls the church to boast in nothing except the cross. This series invites us to abandon every competing source of confidence and rediscover the joy, freedom, and assurance that come from trusting Christ alone.

Life with God comes by faith in Christ, not by the law.
