Pray With Us

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

Paniba

PANIBA is a Christian ministry committed to feeding the hungry, sharing the love of Jesus, and strengthening vulnerable communities in the Dominican Republic. Their heart is especially for children and families living in economically disadvantaged areas, where access to nutritious food is limited and basic needs often go unmet.

Through weekly feeding programs, PANIBA provides nutritious meals to children to help them grow, learn, and thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually. These gatherings aren’t just about food — they include worship, Bible teaching, games, and intentional time to share the hope of Christ with young lives.

In addition to nourishing children, PANIBA extends care to elderly and disadvantaged adults, offering monthly grocery support for those who otherwise have no safety net. The ministry partners with local churches and volunteers to meet both practical needs and spiritual hunger, demonstrating God’s love with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Praise the Lord with gratitude as Josh & Cora Dick have just welcomed 6 week old Ethan Carl into their family!   “God has shown us this was his plan for us and we are so blessed! We are so thankful for all the prayers surrounding our adoption and ask for continued prayers as we move towards finalizing the adoption. We also ask for prayers for Ethan’s birth mom and his birth family in this time.”

Ann Pelliccioni had a follow-up surgery this past Wednesday to relieve a hematoma that was putting pressure on the area they worked on in the first surgery. Some of the pain was alleviated and Ann would appreciated continued prayer for healing.

Please pray for our upcoming VBS on June 15–18, asking that God would begin preparing the hearts of every child and family who will attend. Pray especially that the Lord would be at work both in the lives of those from Prosper and in those who will come from outside our congregation, drawing them closer to Christ.

Please pray for the lost in our area, asking that God would open hearts to the good news of the gospel. Pray that Prosper CRC would be a faithful and significant part of God’s plan to reach those who do not yet know Christ.

Thankful prayer fromm the DeRuiter family:

The family of Ken DeRuiter sincerely wishes to thank our wonderful church family here at Prosper following Ken's cancer diagnosis and his passing on to his eternal heavenly home. We were blessed with meals, baked goodies, cards and MOST importantly, the prayers that we know are still being lifted.

Thank you, Pastor Mitchell for giving the true gospel message, Pastor Jim DeZeeuw for the beautiful eulogy, the wonderful lunch that was prepared and served, and everyone who was involved behind the scenes. To God Be The Glory.

Praise God with Tracie Pratt and her family:

"God bless you for your faithfulness in prayer and love! The new news is that I have 6 more cycles of chemo, God willing, if I can make it through them. I am just over half way of what is allowed before a person cannot have anymore. It becomes too toxic at that point. Also, I cannot take the Immunotherapy because it's main side effect is pulmonary fibrosis.  I already have that leftover from Covid,  but never had a flair or anything until this drug. It is unfortunate because that is the one that is used for maintenance once a month to keep the cancer at bay. Also, my largest tumor has shrunk down to practically nothing, which is something no expected. To God be the glory. The big i question is will there be cancers seen in the caudet of the liver, are they gone or shrunken. I will have a specialized MRI in either June or July to see if these questions can be answered. There is some talk of whether or not surgery should be tried again. The cumulative effects of the chemo are coming into play now and I covet your prayers that God will be merciful and give me grace to endure. I love you all and ask God to bless you and to meet your needs! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. -- Lyle and Tracie. (April 22)

Marilyn Tacoma has returned to her home after a brief stay in an assisted living facility.  Pray with gratitude and thanks for her return home!

Al Koster is dealing with the effects of cancer. Al and Carol would greatly appreciate the prayers of their church family during this time.

Be mindful of our members who find it difficult to get out during this time of year, especially:

Gary VanBuskirk, Sandy Pastula, Jeanette Dick, Ruth Brinks, and Judy Heethuis.
