Emily DeRuiter

Emily serves with Cru’s Creative 1 Media video team in Austin, Texas, using her gifts in videography and media production to support gospel outreach around the world. She collaborates with a multi-studio team to plan, film, and edit compelling evangelistic, discipleship, and training videos that help introduce young people to Jesus, encourage believers in their faith, and promote events like Bible studies, conferences, retreats, and missions. Her work is used across Cru’s ministries globally to communicate the good news of Christ in engaging and culturally relevant ways.

Emily has also created videos featured at major Cru gatherings — such as the Vision Conference, where students from dozens of nations hear the gospel and explore faith in Christ. Through her creative ministry, she seeks to glorify God by helping others encounter Jesus and grow in relationship with Him.
